Our coat of
arms origin is not due to any nobility title, but
our ancestries, between 1600 and 1800, had to
sign some documents and writing was not privilege
of all, so they use to sign with a crest, usually
stamped on wax, and which remained as an
identification symbol to some families. Symbols
was related to work, activities, skills or
characteristics, like the plow of cherwriers'
crest, similar to ours, or the six pointed rays
stars, which are commonly related to commercial
and financial activities.
